Four materials. All manufactured at L4 Factory 3 from asteroid carbon. Zero Earth-origin raw materials after the first seed mission. The same factory that manufactures DRAD chips, graphene solar cells, and CNT structural members for the L4 factory itself manufactures every component of the Speculāris container. No new production line required.
The Speculāris container has exactly the same external dimensions and ISO corner casting geometry as a standard steel container. It drops into every existing port, ship, rail, and truck system on Earth without modification. The interior and structural properties are in a different class entirely.

A 20,000 TEU container ship currently carries 44,000 tonnes of steel tare mass doing nothing except being there. Replace that steel with Speculāris composite and 40,500 tonnes becomes payload or fuel savings simultaneously. The roof PV panels on 20,000 containers generate 56 MW — enough to power the entire ship. The containers earn their keep.
The CVD diamond ISO 1161 twist-lock interface is also sold as a standalone product — a direct retrofit for the steel twist-lock fittings on existing containers, crane spreader bars, ship cell guides, and rail flatcars. $3–5 billion total addressable market. One installation. Indefinite service life.
800 million TEU movements per year. Every one of them moves a steel box that corrodes, wears, requires maintenance, and wastes fuel just by existing. The Speculāris container weighs 175 kg. Its corners are CVD diamond. Its frame is CNT. Its panels are graphene. Its lashing points are carbyne. It generates 2.8 kW from its roof. It tracks itself. It lasts forever.
At ship scale the container fleet generates 56 MW of solar power and frees 40,500 tonnes of cargo capacity. The cargo generates the ship's power and earns $40 million in additional revenue per year. The steel container costs money every voyage. The Speculāris container earns it.
